Nice to hear from you and glad you’re still out there writing too. Agreed about McCain. I think he so rightfully doomed his own candidacy with his pick for Sarah Palin. His decision to put her second-in-line to the president said better than anything else he did in the campaign that he was prepared to make terrible decisions as president. I always thought his reputation as a reformer and independent type was overblown, but the Palin pick put it over the edge.
